Chart notes
HESS had a slow start, raced off the pace in the two path, improved up the backstretch, continued to advance outside of rivals in the three path around the far turn, angled out to the five path at the top of the lane, and rallied past an inner trio in the final sixteenth. CYBERTOWN stalked in the four path up the backstretch, ranged up to bid passing the quarter, took the lead in upper stretch, kicked on to draw clear passing the sixteenth, but got overtaken by the late charging outer winner in the final strides. TIZMARKUS laid up close in the three path, moved up between foes to take command in the two path entering the far turn, came under pressure from just off the rail midway around the far turn, lost the lead at the top of the lane, but kept on to hold show. ROCK SOLO raced in range between rivals from the three path, loomed up to bid midway around the far turn, but faded in the final furlong. GOD'S COUNTRY was unhurried in the four path early and made no impact. ROCKET SANDERS steadied along the inside around the first turn, tracked from just off the rail, was driven in the two path around the far turn, but weakened. GLOBAL HEAT WAVE rated in the two path but never threatened. MANSOURA trailed in the two path and never menaced. STRING THEORY set the pace inside but yielded around the far turn.
