Chart notes
CHARLES BODIE sprinted to the front, drove clear, moved to the rail, led throughout and finished well. ANTIPHON pressed the pace, raced behind CHARLES BODIE throughout, proved no match for the winner, but held on for second. MARDI GRAS EMPIRE lacked early speed, made a late rally and missed second. LAFITTE'S LEGACY raced near the back in the beginning, came around the second turn on the outside, made a wide rally, but lacked enough of kick late. SOCIAL SOLUTION raced within striking distance, saved ground around the final turn, weakened and finished evenly. VICTORY PRINCE raced in the middle of the field, saved ground around the final turn and finished evenly. BOB'S CHANNEL always raced near the back and showed little. CLASSICAL KNIGHT pressed the pace and dropped back. CAPTIVATING STAR had a tight start, raced in the back and was never close.
