Chart notes
XANTHE raced completely out of the picture down the backside, given the queue four wide approaching the quarter pole, swung out seven deep turning for home, furious rally through the final sixteenth, nailed inside rival at the wire. OSCOR hustled up into the first turn, set a swift pressured pace down the backside, battled on between challengers through the final sixteenth, dug in gamely nailed under the wire. MARILYN MOONROE tracked the swift pace inside down the backside, patiently waited leaving the quarter pole, forged on between runners approaching the furlong marker, angled inside upper, chased on well late. READY TO ROCKNROLL broke alertly, vied three wide down the back stretch, chased between runners into the lane, evened out through the final stages. SUNFLOWER STATE roused on mid-pack four wide down the backside, under pressure leaving the furlong marker, had no late punch. FIRST PEARL urged along inside into the first turn, contested a hot pace along the rail down the backside, taken up off heels approaching the furlong marker, weakened through the lane. GONE WITH THE WYN very slow into stride, raced off the pace three and four wide, never threatened. THERE WAS A JOCKEY'S OBJECTION LODGED IN THIS RACE, THE RIDER OF FIRST PEARL CLAIMED FOUL AGAINST THE RIDER OF MARILYN MOONROE FOR INTERFERENCE NEARING THE FURLONG MARKER, AFTER THE JUDGE'S REVIEW MARILYN MOONROE WAS DISQUALIFIED AND PLACED SIXTH.
