Chart notes
EL DAN pressed the pace, forwardly placed throughout, made a late bid, took the lead and finished well. BANDIDO DEAL bumped at the start, raced within striking distance, came around the turn on the outside, made a late bid and was a clear second at the wire. COATTAILS went to the front, saved ground around the turn and lacked a late kick. MY CHULUPA raced within contention, steadied at the head of the lane, altered course and went to the wire evenly. DOOLGAROUX void of early speed, made a late wide gain, but was no factor. FINAL HALF broke in, pressed the early pace, came in slightly at the head of the lane and faded late. GABE'S POSSUM had an awkward start, raced in the back and was never a threat. ROYAL HOPE bumped at the start, raced near the middle of the field, moved up on the inside around the turn, angled out and faded down the lane. STAR APRIORITY lacked early speed and showed little. THE JOCKEY OF #3 MY CHULUPA LODGED A CLAIM OF FOUL AGAINST #4 EL DAN AND #9 FINAL HALF FOR INTERFERENCE AT THE HEAD OF THE LANE. AFTER VIEWING REPLAYS STEWARDS TOOK NO ACTION.
