Chart notes
CHEF RAY WILEY settled off the pace, was cued along the inside at the three sixteenths, responded well to the rider's right handed urging, sustained a rally to be up just in time. SENOR RUBEN split foes early to claim a narrow lead just off the rail, continued through the turn under pressure from THEOLDRUGGEDCROSS, pulled away from that one before meeting an inside bid from CHEF RAY WILEY in the final furlong, grudgingly gave way in the final yards. LIES N DECEPTION tracked the pace four wide in the early stages, showed a mild rally in the six path to get up for the show award. ADAM FIVE OH vied for early command along the inside, backed off to chase the pace through the turn, swung out four wide at the top of the stretch but came up empty. BIG SKOOKUM was off a step slow, ran a wide trip, failed to menace. THEOLDRUGGEDCROSS vied for early command three wide, surrendered to SENOR RUBEN at the half mile marker, pressed the pace through the turn but faded down the stretch. I'M THISTY KID had a bothered start, trailed throughout, no factor.
