Chart notes
RICK'SWARMHEART fractious in the gate pre-start, drafted inside just off the top pair down the backside, angled out four wide into the lane, under strong handling rallied through the final sixteenth, in time at the wire. SISYPHUS stalked the pace two wide around the first two turns, upped the pressure drew even outside HEAD LAD in upper stretch, battled on gamely, nailed under the wire. HEAD LAD broke sharp, set the pace inside into the far turn, collared in upper stretch, fought on inside foes through the final sixteenth, stayed on willingly for the show. ASCENDANCE away in good order, pressed the lead group four wide down the backside, off the rail through the lane, finished one paced through the final sixteenth. ENGLISH PAINTER raced off the pace four wide into the far turn, slipped inside upper, had no late kick. ICETECA outrun down the backside, made a middle move four wide into the far turn, came up empty. BLAMEITONTHEFUN fractious in the gate pre-start, bumped at the bell, raced off the pace three and four wide, weakened stretch. SILENT ROAR bumped at the start, tracked off the pace inside down the backside, faltered through the stretch.
