Chart notes
SPOONIN SHUGA rated off of the early pace, took command into the backstretch run, led into the far turn then drew away while kept to task in the stretch. CHARLIZEANGELBABY close up early on, stalked the pace three wide along the backstretch, well placed to the far turn, was no match late for the winner but held on for second. PLEASIN N TEASIN settled inside, saved ground to stretch, closed late and just missed for second, while holding safely for third. DANJERUS CLOUD hesitated then lunged at the start and spotted the field to begin, advanced between runners to the backstretch, chased two wide to upper stretch, no final kick. TORMENTA G G was forwardly placed while four wide in the early stages, lost ground into the far turn then weakened in the stretch drive. CLARKE'S BOMBER showed early speed and led to the backstretch, gave way on the run to the far turn and came up empty in the late stages. HADDONFIELD settled to the backstretch, trailed approaching the far turn and did not factor late. THE STEWARDS CONDUCTED AN INQUIRY INTO THE START FOR DANJERUS CLOUD AND DETERMINED THAT RUNNER CAUSED HER OWN ISSUES, NO CHANGE WOULD BE MADE.
