Chart notes
LA CHANCA hustled away from the gate, assumed early command then sprinted clear approaching the turn, widened the advantage nearing the top of the lane, was given a reminder tap of the crop into the stretch and won geared down. MIGHTYLILSKY climbed and was a bit green in the early stages, advanced two wide and between rivals along the turn, spun three wide to upper stretch, could not impact the winner in the late stages but finished well and was second best. LATIGO N LACE broke a step slowly then was hustled from the gate, ran in pursuit of LA CHANCA into the turn, was no match for the winner into the stretch, got outkicked for second and held clearly at the finish for third. WHITNEY JAYNE close up to the early pace, shifted to the rail into the turn, saved ground nearing the top of the lane, made a mild late bid but needed more late. TACO FIVE was slow into stride and trailed early, advanced between rivals into the turn, improved position into the stretch but failed to threaten the leaders late. GYPSY WILDCAT took up while in tight in the early stages, saved ground into the turn and did not rally late. TUNING THE SPIRITS chased the early pace from the inside, drifted to the three path while giving way along the turn and could not find more in the stretch. TEXAS TECH LEGS broke alertly, ceded the early lead and chased into the turn, was outrun to the stretch and came up empty in the late stages.
