LUCK IN MY EYES off bit slow and unhurried away from the gate, trailed to the backstretch, weaved through rivals along the far turn, angled five wide for the stretch drive, surged in the late stages and won going away. INDY'S SONG settled to the first turn, was well placed while four deep along the backstretch, bid into the far turn then vied for the lead to upper stretch, made contact with ROLL PENNY ROLL into the lane, was outkicked late by the winner and held for a share of second. ROLL PENNY ROLL prominent early, pressed the pace two to three wide along the backstretch, vied for the lead into the far turn then held a narrow advantage nearing the top of the stretch, drifted out and made contact with INDY'S SONG into the lane, was outkicked late by the winner and held for a share of second. READS PET ZENON came under a snug early hold and settled just off of the pace, tracked between rivals along the backstretch, chased into the far turn, remained in contention into the stretch then flattened out late. KING BRYCE close up to the early pace, tracked three wide to the backstretch, gave chase into the far turn, got crowded turning into upper stretch, fought on through the lane but could not find the needed late response. LA BELLA BELLA off slow to begin, settled early then advanced two to three wide into the far turn, coaxed four wide nearing the top of the lane, got crowded and carried to the five path in upper stretch and could not muster the needed final response. Z MARKS THE SPOT broke alertly and sent for the early lead, set a pressured pace into the backstretch, dueled ROLL PENNY ROLL into the far turn, weakened into upper stretch then gave way in the final stages. DECK HUMOR settled while saving ground to the first turn, well placed along the backstretch, saved ground to the far turn, lacked the needed response nearing the top of the lane and did not rally late. THE STEWARDS CONDUCTED AN INQUIRY INTO THE ACTIONS OF INDY'S SONG AND ROLL PENNY ROLL IN THE STRETCH DRIVE. THE STEWARDS RULED THERE WOULD BE NO CHANGE.
