BEST CHOICE BABY squeezed a bit at the start and settled to the first turn, made progress between rivals and two to three wide heading to the far turn, waited for racing room nearing the top of the lane, found a seam into the stretch, surged late and determinedly got up in the final strides. MAGICAL MARK prominent early, vied for the lead to the first turn then stalked the pace between rivals along the backstretch, bid two wide and between foes into the far turn, led into the stretch, was all out then collared late and held clearly for second. BLOCKED close up to the early pace, stalked three wide into the backstretch, was well placed to the far turn then took a short lead along that bend, overtaken nearing the top of the lane, could not keep pace with the top pair into the stretch but fought on to hold for third. DANCE MAN sent to contest the early lead, took command and showed the way into the backstretch run, dictated terms to the far turn, was overtaken along that bend, fought on into upper stretch then was outfinished for third. LOVESUNFAIR settled off of the early pace, advanced two wide and between runners into the far turn, angled four then five wide for the stretch drive, could not find more in the late stages and flattened out. MISSISSIPPI MAN tracked the early pace five wide, bid four wide into the far turn, ran in pursuit into upper stretch and flattened out late. HOLLAND unhurried in the early stages, made a steady advance to the far turn, coaxed from the four path into upper stretch, moved up late but could not impact the leaders in deep stretch. ROCKS A BLACK SUIT raced close up to the early pace, chased four wide into the first turn, ridden along on the backstretch run, lacked the needed response into the far turn, swung widest into upper stretch and did not threaten late. HAIL STATE forwardly placed leaving the gate, got shuffled back a bit into the first turn, chased from the inside along the backstretch, lacked the needed response into the far turn and gave way. PINEY BLUFF a bit sluggish away from the gate, settled while saving ground to the backstretch, trailed into the far turn, was eased through the stretch and walked off.
