TWO'S A CROWD went to the front, was well rated while setting the pace on the inside, shook clear with three furlongs to run, responded well when asked on the far turn and drew off under steady urging to prove much the best. GRIFFIN'S WHARF established a forward position early, raced in the three path on the first turn, prompted the pace on the outside, dropped back with three furlongs to run, chased the winner in the three path on the turn, pursued that foe under a drive in the stretch and was second best. AMBITION settled while saving ground, was roused on the far turn, moved off the rail late on that bend, was driven into the stretch in the four path, drifted out some near the three-sixteenths pole and lacked the needed response while up for the show. GUN BARREL CITY raced in the three then four path on the first turn, settled on the outside but with some cover, was asked in the two path on the far turn, chased into upper stretch and came up empty. STREET ROCKIN was hustled from the gate, saved ground while well placed just off the pace, chased inside on the far turn and also came up empty. GAMETIME GLADIATOR was hustled from the gate, rounded the first turn in the two path, settled outside near the back with some cover, was roused in the three path on the far turn and failed to respond.
