Chart notes
HONOR POINT was pushed on early to get forward position, stalked KAZOOM through the early stages, then moved up to challenge approaching the quarter pole, dueled that one into the stretch, gained the advantage past the furlong pole, and drew clear late. KAZOOM broke best being hustled away, opened up on the turn, dueled with HONOR POINT from the top of the stretch, and gave way inside the furlong marker. MY LAST ESCAPADE got away well, tracked three-wide down the backstretch, made a forward move leaving the five-sixteenths pole, had aim on the leaders in midstretch but went flat late. HURRICANE EXPRESS (FR) chased the main pack to the stretch, and finished evenly while never a serious threat. STREET STYLE lagged well off the pace and four-wide, lacked a rally. SIG FORTY FIVE took a light bump at the start from the outer rival, raced close up through the early running, came three-wide into the stretch, and lacked a finish. BLACK RUSSIAN broke awkwardly and was slow into stride, trailed far behind the field while saving ground, but never menaced.
