TRE ITALIANI took light contact from an inner foe at the start, set the pace in the two path while vying with an outer rival into and around the turn, led in upper stretch while hanging on his left lead, drifted out and across his counterpart's path at the furlong grounds, brushed a wider bidder while continuing to drift at the sixteenth pole then lasted from an outer challenger at the wire. FROSTY INDULGENCE was brushed between horses at the start, laid off of the pace in the four path into the turn, rallied in the six path into the final furlong, closed in outside of the leaders while getting floated out in the final sixteenth, yet sustained progress to issue a late bid but missed at the wire. ELNAJD stalked two wide and between horses, shifted out to the five path entering the lane, ranged up to bid in midstretch, but was brushed by the drifting leader while being turned away at the sixteenth pole and got outkicked for place. TAMINO vied for the lead with an inner foe while kept in the three path around the turn, pressed into the lane, but shied from his inner counterpart and steadied while getting outkicked for place in midstretch, flopped back to his left lead and kept on. SIXTYSEVEN MUSTANG trailed in the two path, inched closer fanning out to the seven path turning for home then leveled off. DR. PARK broke slowly, raced off of the pace along the inside, surpassed an inner faltering foe turning for home but failed to menace. ACADEMY stalked from the four path, pressed the top pair around the turn, but floated out to the six path entering the lane and tired. HOUSE UNITED lacked speed in the three to two path then failed to factor. NATION brushed with an outer foe at the start, tracked along the inside, steadied hard inside of rivals while attempting to lug out at the five sixteenths pole then was eased through the lane. NORTHERN CHILL raced off of the pace in teh five path early on, but was through approaching the turn, pulled up reaching the lane and was transported off of the track in an equine ambulance. THE RIDER OF ELNAJD CLAIMED FOUL AGAINST TRE ITALIANI; THE RIDER AND TRAINER OF FROSTY INDULGENCE ALSO CLAIMED FOUL AGAINST TRE ITALIANI; ALL ALLEGING INTERFERNCE IN THE FINAL FURLONG. FOLLOWING THE OBJECTIONS, AS WELL AS A STEWARDS' INQUIRY REVIEWING THE STRETCH-RUN FOR THE TOP FOUR FINISHERS, TRE ITALIANI WAS DISQUALIFED AND PLACED FOURTH.
