Chart notes
MIDNIGHT DRIVEN chased the pace into the stretch, rallied in the four path under left then right handed urging, took command near the sixteenth marker, shook clear and lasted under strong handling. KERKYRA allowed to settle, rallied determinedly in the five path through deep stretch and just missed. DRILL BLITZ with the second flight two wide, finished best of the rest. MOON EVENT sprinted to a clear lead soon after the start, dropped to the inside before the turn, set the pace until deep stretch then weakened. MANDALAY SKY failed to menace. STRIKING LADY with the second flight along the rail, failed to respond. CANELA FINA dropped back from an alert start then trailed.
