Chart notes
KISS ME QUICK was in tight between rivals while three wide near the five eighths pole, dropped back, came on again five wide under a hand ride through deep stretch, drifted in slightly nearing the wire and got up in time. ANOTHERHOPE dueled for the lead four then two wide, drifted out a bit while under a hand ride clinging to a narrow lead nearing the wire and was caught in the final strides. LADY HAMILTON contended the lead five then four wide, checked between rivals approximately thirty yards before the wire and lost momentum. SHIELDMEWITHPRAYER trailed along the inside through the turn, angled out for racing room at the three sixteenths pole causing POUNDS IN TOWN to clip heels then passed tiring rivals in deep stretch. LO BUG stumbled badly at the start and was no threat. POUNDS IN TOWN had good early speed two wide, dropped back on the turn, clipped heels with SHIELDMEWITHPRAYER at the three sixteenths pole, swung wide leveled off. FEELING EASY battled for the lead along the inside past the quarter pole then was used up. THE STEWARDS POSTED THE INQUIRY SIGN AND THE RIDER OF LADY HAMILTON LODGED A CLAIM OF FOUL AGAINST THE RIDER OF THE WINNER FOR ALLEGED INTERFERENCE IN DEEP STRETCH. AFTER REVIEW THE STEWARDS UPHELD THE ORIGINAL ORDER OF FINISH.
