Chart notes
LITTLE TROUBLE stalked in the three path, bid midway around the far turn, kicked on while dueling with the inner pacesetter down the stretch, and prevailed. ALWAYS ON CAY set the pace in the two path, was roused when challenged midway around the far turn, dug in gamely down the stretch, but got edged out by the winner. SOCAL RED tracked in the four path, was ridden in the three path around the far turn, and finished evenly down the stretch for show. STREET VENDOR bumped with an outer foe at the start, raced in midpack along the inside but faded in the stretch. WINNING BIG raced towards the back of the pack in the five path and made no impact. SUPERMAX trailed in the four path early and did not factor. BROWN TOWN bumped with an inner foe at the start, then checked hard between foes early into the first turn, chased between rivals, was driven in the two path around the far turn, but did not threaten. MOUNT PELLIAR tracked from the rail but retreated.
