Chart notes
TAXDAY PEYTON was away swiftly, met a bid from WAHIDA OF MARDAN rounding the turn, shook that one off by the eighth pole, kept on task to deny a late drive. THEN NOW 'N ALWAYS was off a step slow, raced not too far off the pace, angled out four wide at the top of the stretch, rallied well but was denied by the winner. WAHIDA OF MARDAN tracked the pace four wide, closed in through the turn to contest the lead at the top of the stretch but could not sustain the bid, weakened in the final furlong. NELLA tracked the pace from the inside, flattened out in the stretch. I DID THE MATH opted to be the early trailer, passed tiring foe in the stretch. MIDNIGHT MS chased the pace between foes, began retreating after the quarter.
