Chart notes

CUT DAY went to the front, saved ground, drove clear down the lane and was kept to the task. BLONDATE pressed the pace, raced close throughout, proved no match for the winner, but was a clear second. ROMEO SPIKES pressed the early pace, entered the turn on the inside, angled to the outside, entering the home stretch and was along for third. IMPERIAL BANDIT raced within contention, forwardly placed throughout, lacked a kick and finished evenly. YAKETY YAK lacked early speed, showed late interest, but was no factor. NATIVE REQUITE raced in the middle of the field and put forth an even effort. PUPPETEER void of early speed, raced outside around the turn and was never close. PERPETUAL PATIENCE raced near the back, saved ground around the turn and showed little. ZESTINY lacked early speed and was never a threat.
