Chart notes
MAYLEN unhurried in the beginning, racing in the back, came around the second turn on the outside, made a wide rally, drove clear and finished strong. HURRICANE KATE raced within contention, forwardly placed throughout, saved ground around the final turn, proved no match for the winner, but was a clear second. WALKSONWATER went to the front, drove clear, saved ground, but couldn't match strides with the top two down the final stretch. FICKLE MISTRESS had a tight start, racing in the back, made a steady gain and missed third. NO MAP NEEDED raced near the middle of the field, steadied entering the home stretch, blocked, angled out and gained ground. LINDA FAYE lacked early speed, had an outside trip, moved up, but was no factor. BROADWAY STAR raced in the middle of the field, weakened and was no threat late. ICE COLD BLONDE void of early speed and passed tired ones. SAUTEE NACOOCHEE broke out, raced within striking distance and was finished early.
