Chart notes
PAYNT BY LETTERS cleared early and set the pace under a light hold, saw the lead diminish into the far turn, dug in when confronted from both sides leaving the three eighths, emerged in a duel outside CODE RUNNER leaving the three sixteenths, lost the lead a furlong out then battled back under steady handling to prove best in the final yards. CODE RUNNER settled off the pace while saving ground, crept up into the far turn, moved through along the rail and joined outer foes three furlongs from the wire, went head to head with PAYNT BY LETTERS from the five sixteenths, gained a narrow lead under left handed asking near mid stretch, continiued on with good effort but was unable to deny the winner. SIXWILLBERICH stalked three wide, took closer order near the half, bid three deep exiting the far turn, failed to kick on with the inner top pair leaving the three sixteenths and faded. HIGHLY PERFECT rated back off of a foe and angled out near the seven eighths, lost ground four wide, failed to respond past the three eighths and retreated.
