Chart notes
WAMPUS KITTEN bore out at the break, corrected and moved up outside rivals to take over and clear, tapered in and set a rated pace just off the inside, responded when asked entering the lane then eagerly pulled away through the final furlong while kept to task. DIXIE PENNY exchanged bumps with an inner foe heading to the turn, chased three deep then in the clear past the five sixteenths, continued on with effort after giving hard pursuit past mid stretch and was able to just last for the place. DESERT GLOW drafted back inside, raced two to three wide in upper stretch, shifted in for the final furlong and finished with good energy. MAMBA OUT chased to the inside of a pair of foes into the turn, remained inside past the five sixteenths and faded. ORNERY ANGEL , bumped between foes early, steadied near the three eighths, was taken wide, eased through the final quarter mile and walked off.
