Chart notes

KARLWITHANARL settled near the back early, advanced boldly through the far turn, then ran down HOPE'S ALIVE in the stretch and was just up in time. HOPE'S ALIVE pushed to the front and set off clear a length to dictate the pace, was clear in upper stretch but failed to last despite a solid effort. RADAUTI was far back in last position early on, ran on through the stretch to gain the third spot. DEVIL'S CAY settled just off the pace to the half, tried to go after HOPE'S ALIVE late on the turn but was unable to quicken, and weakened in the stretch. HOT ROD KITTY tracked in mid-pack for a half-mile, then lacked a finish. NINJA PRIZE hustled away, then settled on the rail just behind the early pacesetters, dropped off the pace approaching the three-furlong pole, and came up empty in the stretch.
