EPIC PRANKSTER took charge under pressure from AMOUR DE LA VIE, shook that one off at the three eighths whilst meeting a bid from CHASING NUMBERS, did battle down the lane and inched by late. CHASING NUMBERS tracked the early pace from the three path, moved up to contest the lead at the three eighths, dueled with EPIC PRANKSTER down the stretch for a very gamely finish, clear of the rest for the place award. AMOUR DE LA VIE rushed up along the inside to press the pace, backed off through the far turn, no match for the dueling leaders. DANCEWITHMEFIONA bobbled slightly at the start, settled off the pace, angled out at the top of the stretch but was unable to improve. JULIETTE P. settled back to trail shortly after the start, never factored.
