Chart notes
ROCK'N AWESOME chased the pacesetter, advanced on the far turn, responded to stiff pressure in the late going and edged clear in the final sixteenth. PI TIME pulled while under a snug hold along the inside, was urged to improve on the far turn and stayed on in the stretch to garner the place spot. RUNNING WRANGLER grabbed the early lead, was clear on the far turn, tired in the final furlong and was reeled in. SECRET INSANITY chased the pace while three wide, was swung five wide into the stretch and lacked a rally. EZ COWBOY was reserved while four wide and never menaced. TAPIT WARRIOR was bumped early by EZ COWBOY while racing in tight quarters and always outrun. FOLLOWING THE RACE, THE STEWARDS CONDUCTED AN INQUIRY FOCUSING ON AN INCIDENT IN THE EARLY STAGES. AFTER REVIEWING VIDEOTAPED REPLAYS, EZ COWBOY WAS DISQUALIFIED FOR INTERFERENCE AND PLACED SIXTH.
