Chart notes
READY got to the front after the break, had SAN MATEO KAT prompting the issue to the outside, shook off that rival at the three-furlong pole, opened up a massive lead in the stretch, and was geared down in the late stages. SAN MATEO KAT pressed READY two-wide from the start, weakened passing the three-furlong pole, and came up empty late. WILBURNSCLASSYLADY broke well but settled behind the two leaders, was being coaxed along down the backstretch to keep in range, picked up the chase when SAN MATEO KAT folded at the three-furlong marker, was never getting to the winner but was a clear second best. PAINTBRUSH raced well off the pace along the inside and never threatened. SERENADE A KITTEN was outrun whiel racing in the three-path and trailed throughout.
