Chart notes
SPRING DANCER was prompted from up close along the inside, bid from the rail passing the quarter, dueled with the outer pacesetter from the two to three paths down the lane, and inched ahead in the closing stages. ANAKARINA dictated the pace in the two path, waited from off the rail while allowing an inner foe to challenge midway around the turn, came under pressure while swinging from the three path into the lane, dug in gamely while battling with an inner rival to the wire, briefly lost the rein passing the sixteenth pole, and got edged out by the inner challenger in the final strides. ERVADEAN stalked in the three path, was coaxed along around the turn, swung from the five path into the lane, and kept on for show. PISTOL raced off the pace in the three path, was nibbled along in the four path around the turn, fanned out to the six path at the top of the stretch, and stayed on willingly. R PRETTY KITTY chased in the two path, was driven around the turn, but finished evenly. DREAM CONCERT tracked from the rail but weakened.
