Chart notes
HURRICANE SAYLOR showed early speed, ceded the early lead to BOSTON PRINCESS then stalked that rival into the backstretch, loomed into the far turn, took command to upper stretch, drew off through the lane and was geared down late, won as much the best. BOSTON PRINCESS broke a bit slowly, hustled for the early lead, assumed command then set her own pace along the backstretch, led into the far turn then was collared by the winner approaching the top of the lane, was no match for the winner in the stretch and bested the rest. SNOW FLURRY off a bit slow to begin, recovered to be forwardly placed early on then was caught four wide into the first turn, settled to the backstretch, chased four wide to the far turn, could not find the needed response in the stretch drive but was a clear third. O'NEILL'S LEGACY settled off of the early pace while never far back, caught in tight into the first turn, chased between rivals along the backstretch, ran in pursuit from the two path into the far turn, lacked a final response and finished evenly. INDIAN EXCELLENCE rated off of the early pace then saved ground to the first turn, ridden along two and a half furlongs out, chased two then three wide into the far turn, needed more in the stretch drive and passed tiring rivals late. TRUE LOVIN was away in good order then took back into the first turn, chased two wide and between rivals along the backstretch, crowded LA BELLA BELLA heading into the far turn, lacked the needed response nearing the top of the lane and did not rally late. SWEET HELLO was forwardly placed three wide into the first turn, tracked the pace three wide into the backstretch, gave chase into the far turn, could not find more nearing the top of the lane and weakened. PRETTY PEPPY bobbled, squeezed back at the start, trailed into the backstretch run, advanced two wide into the far turn then lacked a further response. LA BELLA BELLA vied for the early lead then took back into the first turn, was well placed while saving ground into the backstretch, was crowded then took up at the quarter marker, lost position into the far turn and did not rally late. CASUAL ENCOUNTER was crowded a bit at the start and off a step slowly, settled to the first turn then unhurried into the backstretch, ridden along two then three wide into the far turn, could not muster a response heading to upper stretch and came up empty late. THE STEWARDS CONDUCTED AN INQUIRY INTO THE INCIDENT INVOLVING LA BELLA BELLA AT THE QUARTER MARKER, AND RULED THERE WOULD BE NO CHANGE.
