CATALE WINEMIXER sent from the start, led to the first turn then ceded the lead into the backstretch, pressed from the inside into the far turn, took command and led to the quarter pole, kicked clear into the stretch, drew off through the lane and was kept to task under hand urging in the late stages. GRACE GIVEN was forwardly placed to the first turn, took back into the backstretch then tracked from the second flight approaching the far turn, roused three wide at the quarter pole, chased into the stretch, was no match for the winner into the drive but was best of the rest. FLAT OUT FANCY reared at the start and spotted the field to begin, advanced into the backstretch run, roused four to five wide to upper stretch, needed more in the late stages, was outkicked for the place and just held at the wire for the show. PURE CONNECTION settled off of the early pace while never far back, coaxed two wide at the quarter marker then was caught in tight into upper stretch, found room into the final furlong and was outkicked late for the minor awards. LOOKIN LUCKY AGAIN was allowed to settle early on then lagged to the backstretch, trailed to the far turn, angled widest into the final furlong and passed tiring rivals late. MIZ RITHYM settled in the second flight early on, shifted to the rail into the backstretch then chased the pace to the second turn, ran in pursuit to upper stretch, lacked a response at the furlong grounds and gave way. GRAND PRAIRIE GAL hustled from the gate, disputed the early pace outside of CATALE WINEMIXER into the backstretch, set a prompted pace to the half-mile, dueled CATALE WINEMIXER into the far turn, was turned away at the quarter pole then weakened in the stretch. This race originally had a hand timed final time, and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate final time.
