QUARTERLY REPORT off a bit slowly, crossed over to the inside entering the first turn then settled to the backstretch, kept an inside path to the far turn, angled out and loomed four wide nearing the top of the lane, took command at the furlong grounds, drew away into the final sixteenth and was wrapped up while in hand in deep stretch. TOWN HERO forwardly placed to the first turn, contested the pace two wide and between foes into the backstretch, pressed the pace to the far turn, vied from the inside into upper stretch, was no match for the winner into the stretch drive, fought on late and held well for the place. KNICKS STORY settled just off of the early pace, chased the leading pair two to three wide along the backstretch, bid three wide into the far turn, vied between rivals leaving the quarter pole then caught a bit in tight in upper stretch, outkicked at the furlong pole, fought on late and missed for the place, while just holding for the show. STORMS LAST sent to contest the early pace from the inside, took back into the backstretch run and stalked to the half-mile, shifted off of the rail into the far turn then was shuffled nearing the quarter marker, swung four to five wide to upper stretch, re-bid into the final sixteenth and was outkicked for the minor awards. CUPID'S THUNDER hopped at the break and off a step slowly, settled in the second flight and between rivals, tracked three wide to the far turn, chased to upper stretch then angled four wide for the drive, could not sustain a bid to the final sixteenth and flattened out late. SHARP LORENZO broke in good order, showed speed and contested the early pace three wide, took a narrow lead into the backstretch, dictated terms into the far turn while off of the rail, overtaken into upper stretch, faded in the late stages. BOURBON LIFE off a bit slowly and unhurried early on, trailed to the half-mile, advanced along the inside into the far turn, got caught in traffic into deep stretch and lacked a further response. UNITED PATRIOT hopped then pinched back at the start, settled outside of rivals in the early stages, coaxed three wide to the half, dropped back along the far turn, eased through the stretch and walked off.
