Chart notes
MACKVILLE was forwardly placed in the early running, tracked five wide into the turn, roused four wide to upper stretch, responded well into the lane, vied for the lead into the final sixteenth then surged clear in the late stages. YOUGOTTHISJR hustled to vie for the early lead, disputed the pace to the turn then took command along the bend, led into the stretch, dug in into the final furlong, was outkicked in deep stretch and held safely for second. MCMUSIC broke out then bumped at the start, settled off of the early pace while never far back, advanced along the rail into the turn, tipped to the two path and loomed into upper stretch, was held at bay into the final furlong and could not muster a final response, while holding safe for third. MORTIFY close up to the early pace while between runners, got caught in tight and checked at the half-mile marker, lost position to the turn, saved ground to the quarter marker then angled four wide to upper stretch, fought on to the final sixteenth but could not reel in the leaders in deep stretch. WEST COAST COWBOY broke in at the start and crowded inner rival, contested the early pace four deep and between rivals, chased into the turn and was well placed nearing the quarter pole, angled in approaching the furlong pole, could not find more into the final sixteenth and flattened out. FASTENED bobbled then crowded at the start, was off slowly then was void of early speed, trailed while well back into the turn, advanced along the inside into upper stretch, passed tiring rivals into the drive but could not impact the leaders in deep stretch. SOCIAL SOONER settled in the second flight, coaxed four wide into the turn, kept a wide path to the stretch and did not threaten in the late stages. WINDTAPPER WIN showed good early speed, pressed the pace three wide approaching the turn, lost position nearing the quarter marker, gave way in the stretch. HEY close up to the early pace, pressed two wide and between runners heading to the turn, stopped nearing the quarter marker and did not offer a final response in the stretch. BARREL THIEF bumped at the start, chased the early pace from the second flight, lost ground two to three wide nearing the quarter marker, lacked a response to upper stretch, empty in the late stages.
