Chart notes
CHANCE TAKER tracked the pace a couple lengths back, swung out to the five path at the top of the stretch, drifted in alongside SAINT GHAALEB to do battle for the final furlong, got the bob for the win. SAINT GHAALEB bobbled at the start, rushed up along the inside to claim a narrow lead by the seven sixteenths, opened up a couple lengths in the upper stretch before being joined by CHANCE TAKER to duel with in the final furlong, just missed the bob. COALY pressed the pace between runners, flattened out in the final furlong. HALO HONEY opted to be the early trailer, passed retreating foe in the stretch. HEAVENLY SCENT broke sharply but surrendered command shortly after the start, stalked the pace three wide through the turn, took hold in the upper stretch to avoid CHANCE TAKER, retreated.
