Chart notes
KETTLE COALMINE close up from the start, rallied two wide then along the rail through the stretch, drifted out under left handed urging bumping the runner up near the wire and was along in time. BOAZ was bumped from his outside at the start, staled the pace three then four wide into the stretch, made the lead before the furlong marker, drifted into the two path, was bumped nearing the wire and finished clear for second. LUCY'S FIRST SONG unhurried early, found his best stride late four wide. BOLD WINDSOR set a pressured pace along the inside into the stretch, drifted to the three path and weakened late. BASOVAK STAR allowed to settle, closed ground rapidly along the rail in upper stretch then came up empty inside the furlong marker. MARKAWAY was bumped between rivals at the start then failed to menace. DELIGHTFUL APPEAL settled inside and was no threat. SILVER B B was bumped hard from his outside into rivals at the start, had speed five wide into the turn then gave way. JARARACUSSU was always outrun. WORTHY OF IT ALL bore in bumping SILBER BB at the start causing a chain reaction of bumping to his inside, pressed the pace two wide into the turn then stopped abruptly. THE STEWARDS POSTED THE INQUIRY SIGN AND THE RIDER OF BOAZ LODGED A CLAIM OF FOUL AGAINST THE RIDER OF THE WINNER FOR INTERFERENCE NEARING THE WIRE. AFTER REVIEW THE STEWARDS DISQUALIFIED KETTLE COALMINE AND PLACED HIM SECOND.
