Chart notes
BARKSDALE set the pace in the two path, dug in while meeting an outer challenge in midstretch, drifted out and bumped that bidder at the sixteenth pole, battled with that one thereafter and clung to an advantage to the wire. HIGHLY FLAMMABLE stalked whlie moving to the inside into the turn, tipped to the four path to take aim on the clear leader in upper stretch, ranged up to bid at the furlong grounds, took contact from the leader at the sixteenth pole, recovered and battled on through the late stages but was denied. CHIRINGO tracked along the inside, shifted off the of the rail at the five sixteenths pole, floated out to the five path in upper stretch then proved no match for the top pair. REAL MACHO trailed in the five path, fanned to the six path into the lane and failed to factor. MISTER MMMMM came out at the start, pressed the leader from the four path then faded around the turn. THE RIDER OF HIGHLY FLAMMABLE CLAIMED FOUL AGAINST BARKSDALE ALLEGINGING INTERFERNCE IN THE FINAL FURLONG. FOLLOWING THE OBJECTION, AS WELL AS A STEWARDS' INQUIRY, NO CHANGE WAS MADE TO THE ORIGINAL ORDER OF FINISH.
