Chart notes
QUICK SHIP sprinted to a daylight lead soon after the start, set the pace until deep stretch, was headed briefly in the final yards, dug in gamely under left handed urging and got back up by a narrow margin. HAPPYCASTLE chased the winner from the start, drifted to the middle of the racetrack entering the stretch, rallied to gain a slim advantage inside the sixteenth marker then was denied. LIGHTNING SPEED stalked the pace into the stretch and was steadily gaining ground late while three wide. CANTCATCHLILFLETCH went evenly. TAP THE CARD JACK was in a bit tight at the start and failed to menace. BUKELE was fractious in the gate, swung wide and was never a threat. OVERTHROWD'HAREM also fractious in the gate, was no factor.
