Chart notes
HMS DIAMOND stalked the early pace from the three path, moved up to vie for command through the turn, met a bid from CAJUN COASTER at the quarter, shook off the original pace setter at the eighth, dug in for the win. CAJUN COASTER shadowed the early pace, split foes at the quarter to enter the stretch battling for command between runners, shook off inner foe at the eighth, fought hard for a gamely finish. TOO MANY TITOS was rated along the inside, angled out to the four path in the upper stretch and got up for the show award. FIRST SAMARITAN was reluctant to load the starting gate, was away swiftly, challenged by HMS DIAMOND for command through the turn, met another bid from CAJUN COASTER at the quarter, conceded at the eighth and weakened. SASSI ROYAL tracked the pace four wide, weakened in the stretch. RUNNING FOR DEWEY raced off the pace, made no impact. CHARLIE G T was fractious in the gate, broke a step slow, showed little, eased across.
