SWEET MACKENZIE four then three wide through the first turn, raced three paths off the inside down the backstretch until able to tuck in a path at the seven-sixteenths, briefly made her way to the rail three furlongs out before taking the two path through the far turn, angled three to four wide into upper stretch and stayed on one paced to the wire. YOLO along the inside through the first turn, tracked two then three wide under a ride from the three-eighths pole, angled out seven wide into upper stretch, improved position to the finish. ALMA'S LAW broke out at the start trading a bump with MAGNUM'S MICROBRST, who broke inwards, chased along the inside under coaxing from three furlongs out, continued in the inside route into upper stretch, went into the gap of the infield chute nearing the eighth pole and was expertly extracted and weakened through to the finish. ESSENCE L VEE broke in a step at the start bumping DEFINING ROLE, chased just off the inside under urging from three furlongs out, angled five wide into upper stretch, weakened. PARAIBA BLUE hesitated at the break and then broke inwards when away last, chased three wide under a ride from the three-eighths marker, angled six wide into upper stretch and came up empty. KATERINA RISTOVA chased just off the inside under a ride from three furlongs out, tipped three wide at the head of the stretch, tired. DEFINING ROLE got bumped at the start by ESSENCE L VEE, who broke inwards, raced three then two wide through the first turn, chased two then three wide under urging from the five-sixteenths pole, angled four wide at the top of the stretch and faltered in the drive.
