Chart notes
LOFTY HEIGHTS chased the pace while three wide, moved closer on the far turn, gained the lead at the three-sixteenths pole, drifted out in the stretch but held on under right-handed pressure. FERN SPIRIT saved ground, advanced on the far turn and stayed on while three wide in the stretch. TRIPLE FOUR was reserved between rivals, swung out five wide for the stretch run to take aim, was angled in approaching the sixteenth pole to avoid the drifting out LOFTY HEIGHTS and kept on. WORLD OF HURT outpaced while four wide, moved out six wide into the stretch and lacked a rally. QUEEN BERKELEY broke outwardly, was void of speed and never reached contention. STEPHANIE'S MARIA threw her head at the start, recovered to gain the lead first on the turn and gave way when headed leaving the far turn. MEAN TO ME stalked the early pace and weakened. FOLLOWING THE RACE, THE RIDER OF TRIPLE FOUR LODGED A CLAIM OF FOUL AGAINST THE RIDER OF LOFTY HEIGHTS ALLEGING INTERFERENCE AT THE SIXTEENTH POLE. AFTER REVIEWING VIDEOTAPED REPLAYS, THE STEWARDS DISMISSED THE OBJECTION.
