Chart notes
BABY VINO off the early pace while three wide in the first turn, moved closer after a half three wide, steadied when in tight late backstretch, recovered and advanced to challenged three wide through the final turn, vied into the lane and began to edge away with a furlong remaining under steady handling. BANKSY'S four wide in the first turn when also behind the first flight, into the far turn, gained a brief advantage midway through that bend, continued to battle upper stretch then could not match strides with the winner the final furlong, remained clear of the others. MAXIMUM EFFORT broke on top, set a pressured pace for over five furlongs, began to weaken when headed in the far turn. PAUL'S RECOVERY in tight at the start, back off the pace and the inside, checked in tight quarters with a half to run, moved out to be three wide through the final turn when went evenly through the lane. ACE JACK DEUCE one paced while saving ground, continued inside through most of ,the second bend, came in the two path for the drive, went evenly through the lane in lacking a rally. HOUSE TRICK forwardly placed 3w 1st turn, in tight between rivals with four furlongs to run, began to tire soon after. BLACK STAR in tight to be away slowly, trailed throughout and was never a factor.
