Chart notes
INTER MIAMI saved ground setting the pace and maintained a safe advantage. CHAIN REACTION was reserved off the pace, rallied four-wide into the stretch, could not reach the winner but proved to be second best. LIEUTENANT STAN was unhurried early, came four-wide into the stretch and finished in a mild rally. HOMETOWN HERO was prominently placed racing three-wide early and weakened. BANGKOK BOB settled in the back of the field, rallied five-wide into the stretch and failed to seriously threaten. SUNDAY GILT was close-up early racing two-wide but lacked a rally. JOKING WAY saved ground while being allowed to settle and failed to be a factor.
