Chart notes
ON A PROUD NOTE showed speed inside ANITA BEER, saved ground around the turn, drifted to the four path in upper, opened up in mid stretch and prevailed under brisk urging. LOOKS FIRST , caught in close quarters leaving the starting gate, hugged the inner rail leaving the turn and through the stretch and rallied nicely. MEG lacked speed, stayed along the inner rail around the turn, failed to menace and passed tired horses. ANITA BEER came out at the break, prompted the winner, was floated five wide in upper stretch and weakened in the drive. PANCHITA showed brief speed along the rail, drifted out on the turn and gave way.
