Chart notes
SHUBAGAIL lacked early speed dropping back to last early, raced near the inside on the turn, rallied between foes passing the quarter pole, came out in upper stretch with aim, struck the lead past the sixteenth pole and drove clear. QUERCUS soon led setting the pace in the clear from off the rail, was asked at the three-sixteenths, overtaken in deep stretch and proved no match but clearly second best. ROZZYROO bumped a rival at the start then steadied, switched out and advanced outside foes three to four wide up the backstretch and on the turn, ran on one-paced in the stretch and saved show honors. NO MO MUFFINS was bumped at the start, chased in behind the leaders, went three to four wide on the turn swinging six deep into upper stretch, ran on. CAPOS SUGAR KANE raced close up early inside, steadily dropped back, came out seven wide at the top of the stretch, failed to menace. DIDN'T IT RAIN was well-positioned pursuing the leader from outside into the turn, went about three deep on that bend, failed to rally when asked and faltered in the stretch.
