Chart notes
CAPT. CANDY was fractious in the gate, hopped at the start, moved forward stalking, advanced four wide on the turn, bid in mid-stretch, forged clear. FOR SOME REASON stalked up close three wide, switched out five deep in upper stretch, kept on late to get the place. MISCHIEF WARRIOR had the early lead but was soon overtaken, stalked from outside, bid between foes at the quarter pole taking a narrow lead into upper stretch, lacked the needed late kick. MY DETROIT CITY chased in behind near the inside, swung six wide, showed late interest. GREAT KISSER veered in at the start, was coaxed forward to the lead and just clear dictating terms, was challenged late on the turn, gave way in the stretch. VALORE was a bit fractious in the gate, in tight at the start, was outrun.
