Chart notes
LEWIS THE ROBBER was forwardly-placed in pursuit inside and off the leader, cut the corner bidding up the rail at the top of the stretch and taking a narrow lead, edged clear in mid-stretch while drifting out, just lasted. THE PIRANHA broke out bothering foes at the start, unhurriedly brought up the rear dropping well back early, advanced on the turn, came out nine wide at the top of the stretch, was flying late but missed. RIPPIN advanced between foes at the three-eighths while encouraged along, continued advancing in behind the leader but steadied in traffic seeking room at and just past the quarter pole, had room between in the stretch but was outkicked. CHUBBLESOME was forced out at the start, settled mid-pack outside, advanced four wide on the turn, was carried six wide into upper stretch looming a threat, came in a bit then was carried out late and evened out. TICKET TO PARADISE was forced out at the start, had forward position chasing the leader from outside three wide, was carried out by that one five deep turning for home, was in tight soon after and switched outside a rival, failed to rally. MOON TIDE was coaxed to the lead and set the pace from off the rail, drifted leaving the turn, faded in the stretch. R PARROT HEAD dropped back and made no bid.
