Chart notes
CHANDON got away from the gates slow, trailing the field early and from the outside, the closed willingly around the turn to draw off from the field and win handily. SAPELLO SONRISA stalked the pace early, on from the inside, then rallied around the turn, taking the lead at the head of the lane, but it was not enough to ward off the winner. BRAZILIAN QUEEN pressed the pace early on, then dueled for the lead down the backstretch but faltered mid way down the lane and held on for show. LA JOLLA BEACH made the early lead and dueled with BRAZILIAN QUEEN, down the backstretch, but gave way at the head of the lane. SHEZ PUNCTUAL was mid field early, racing along the rail but lacked a late response. MY YELLOWSTONE was near the front early on, but dropped back down the backstretch. HOODWINKED KATE was near the back, racing on the outside and showed little.
