Chart notes
CLASSICAL ECHO showed speed away from the start, pressed the early pace from the inside, dueled inside of ENDLESS SKYWAY into the turn, held a narrow lead at the quarter pole then kicked clear into the stretch, kept to task into the final furlong and held sway to the wire. ENDLESS SKYWAY broke alertly and sent for the early lead, dueled for pace duties two wide into the turn, was turned away by CLASSICAL ECHO into upper stretch, was no match for the winner into the final furlong but stayed on to be a clear second. WEST OF TOWN lunged at the start then settled off of the early pace, advanced four wide into the turn, loomed three wide nearing the quarter, flattened out in the lane but held clearly in the end for third. RUNAROUND ROWDY hopped at the start and was away from the gate a step slowly, recovered to be forwardly placed early on, tracked from the inside heading to the turn then took up when put in tight at the three-eighths, fought on and swung three to four wide to upper stretch, was trying late but could not impact the leaders in deep stretch. MORE POWER chased the early pace from the second flight, ran in pursuit three wide into the turn, could not keep pace to upper stretch and weakened in the lane. HOWBOUTCHA rated off of the early pace, went up to track between rivals heading to the turn, chased two wide then from the rail approaching the quarter marker, lacked a response to mid-stretch then gave way. TIZ TICKTOK fractious prior to the start, settled off of the early pace then was outrun to the turn, trailed to the quarter marker and did not factor in the stretch.
