PROTECTIVE CUSTODY was hustled from the gate, traveled around the first turn in the two path, stalked the pace on the outside, turned up the pressure on the leader in the two path on the far turn, was asked outside the quarter-pole, gained a short lead under a drive inside the three-sixteenths pole, battled outside of the runner-up into the final furlong and powered away under strong urging to prove much the best. GETTING SERIOUS lunged at the start and was last away while breaking relatively with the body of the field, raced in the two path while rated off the pace, was asked at the quarter-pole then came under a drive in upper stretch, chased the winner to the finish and shared the place. SOUL DANCE (GB) went to the front, showed the way on the inside while in hand, was given her cue outside the quarter-pole, came under a drive in upper stretch, lost the advantage to the winner outside the furlong marker, battled with that foe into the final furlong and weakened then just held a share of the place. SALT PRINCESS was taken under a snug hold early, raced in the three path on the first turn, settled outside towards the front without cover, chased in the three path on the far turn and lacked the needed response. SWISS MOON (FR) bumped with a rival at the start, raced in the two path on the first turn, settled off the pace, was roused in the two then three path on the far turn and failed to rally. PATTY CAKES threw her head at the start and broke near the back but with the body of the field, rounded the first turn in the two path, raced at the rear under reserve, was urged along while moving from the two path to the four path on the far turn, spun into the stretch in the five path and failed to threaten. HIDDEN ROSE broke out and brushed the gate, saved ground on the turns, was roused outside the quarter-pole and was no factor. HAUNTRESS was taken under a tight hold early then rated just off the pace on the inside, continued to save ground while asked on the far turn and came up empty.
