Chart notes
IMA TRACK STAR fought head to head outside JETWAY, roused on the turn, put a head in front at the eighth pole and gamely prevailed. JETWAY dueled inside IMA TRACK STAR, came under a ride midway around the bend, lost command at the eighth pole, fought back gamely to the wire but came up just short in the end. TESS OF HEMET tracked out of range from off the rail, went three then four wide around the bend and bested the rest. MY MAN JOE ROLDAN broke a step slow, trailed on the inside into the turn, shifted to the two path at the five-sixteenths pole and passed tired rivals. TEXAS WILDCAT stalked the top pair up the backstretch, chased two then three wide on the turn and faded down the lane. MY MAN HUEY chased the dueling leaders outside a rival, lost ground while finding the rail at the five-sixteenths pole and had little left for the drive.
