Chart notes
GAMBLAWAY sent for the early lead, showed good speed and dictated terms to the turn, showed the way from the two path nearing the top of the lane, kept to task to deep stretch, proved best. HENNESSY LOOKER RF prominent in the early stages, pressed the early pace from outside of GAMBLAWAY, chased that foe into the turn, kept at bay to upper stretch, could not make up ground on the winner in the late stages but bested the rest for the place honors. WRECKING STORM was close up to the early pace then shuffled back, re-rallied along the rail into the turn, could not made headway on the leading pair in deep stretch but was a clear third, good effort. NOBODY'S PERFECT away with the leading group then caught in tight and checked early, saved ground into the turn, came on late but could not impact the leaders in deep stretch. RUBY'S HOT LIPS close up to the early pace while four wide, gave chase into the turn, lacked the needed response to upper stretch, weakened in the lane. MOZART J forwardly placed in the early going, chased the pace three wide approaching the turn, could not match strides nearing the top of the lane, gave way in the drive. WAREISTHELUTE broke in the air and spotted the field to begin, was well back into the turn and trailed throughout.
