CARLIN CONTENTION forced the pace outside, took over midway on the final turn and drew away through the stretch. THE TIRE MAN settled off the leaders inside, angled out on the final turn and was easily second best. NO MOR STONES hustled to the front inside, lost the advantage midway on the final turn then faded. ACCELERATED DATING raced off the leaders three wide then six wide on the final turn. IT'S AUTHENTIC stalked the leaders outside then proved empty in the stretch. COACH CLINT dropped far behind inside and gave way readily. WEEK'S STRONG lacked speed and trailed throughout losing contact with his field.
