DEVIL'S CAY vied two wide in the early stages, then stalked the pacesetter, bid entering the far turn, dueled, led into the stretch, responded when roused, drew clear under urging and was kept to the task. NIXON JOY (ARG) was outrun early, advanced inside on the far turn, came four wide into the lane, rallied and finished well outside for second. MUCHO MOJO was outrun early, advanced inside on the far turn, came three wide into the stretch, rallied mildly and got up for third. PREACH IT WARRIOR was bumped at the start, vied inside for the early lead, then set the pace on the inside, dueled with the winner on the far turn, dug in through the lane and weakened late. CODY PASS was bumped at the start, raced close up early, tracked on the inside, chased on the far turn and weakened. BOB JOHN RAY raced close up early outside rivals, then stalked two wide and gave way on the far turn.
